How to Make an Owl Bookmark

Materials :

1.   Fabric with pattern
2.   Owl potrait
3.   2 strips of white thick cardboard
4.   Sticky tape
5.   Ribbon
6.   Pencil
7.   Scissors
8.   Ruler
9.   Glue


 Steps :

1. Gather all your items. Make sure the materials are placed in a wide area.




2.   Design your owl. See the Sources and Citations link for ideas on how to create your owl design.
 




3.   Cut the owl out carefully and 2 strips of thick cardboard. The strips must be 4cm width by 20cm height.


4.   Glue the cardboard together and the owl on top. The owl should take 2cm of the cardboard top.


 5.   Design your strips. The materials are endless. You can use a variety of colours and fabric. Make sure the glue quality is good.  

   

 



6.   Add a ribbon at the top behind the owl. Use sticky tape to attach it on the back. 


7.   Finished.

       It is commonly known that the giraffe is the tallest animal in the world, sometimes reaching a height in excess of 18 feet. along with its long neck, the giraffe has a very long tongue, more than a foot and a half long, with which can clean its ears! The average length of an adult giraffes tongue is 53 cmm (21 inches). That is ample enough to clean its ears out. You can see many examples on Youtube of this happening.
